Book Discussion Group—Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World

In Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World, climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe draws upon her interdisciplinary research and personal stories to teach all of us how to open hearts and minds to the truths of climate change. Her approach is optimistic and inclusive; you have power to act for change. Eschewing doomsday scenarios, she argues that climate action is about how each of us connects with our communities to inspire collective action.

This discussion group will meet 10-11:30 am Tuesdays on November 1, 8, 15, 29, and on December 6 and 13 at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Rowe Woods.

This group will be facilitated by Cincinnati Nature Center member and volunteer Jennifer Goldschneider. Participation is free, though you need to provide your own copy of the book. Space is limited to 10 people. To participate, contact Connie O’Connor at coconnor@cincynature.org.
