Share your love of Cincinnati Nature Center! Bring your friends, neighbors and family for a visit to Cincinnati Nature Center’s Rowe Woods on September 25 and 26 for FREE! Come hike a trail, feed fish and turtles at Powel Crosley Lake, or participate in one of the many fun and exciting programs we are offering throughout the weekend. John A. Ruthven Tribute on the Trails @ Cincinnati Nature Center, Rowe Woods

Enjoy a curated collection of John Ruthven’s paintings on the trails at Rowe Woods. The artwork has been selected to correspond with plants and wildlife in the area where each piece will be displayed. Three original works will be on display in the Whittaker Library at Rowe Visitor Center. This is a self-led experience where you can explore 12 beautiful works of art tucked into our scenic trails! Find specific locations for each piece by using Cincinnati Nature Center’s mobile guide.

Members free; nonmembers pay daily admission at the gate.

Starting on Monday, August 23, masks are required in all our buildings for all vaccinated and unvaccinated people (all individuals kindergarten and up). Masks are not required outdoors or under pavilions and tents.

Cincinnati Nature Center is excited to host our Annual Birdseed Sale! Stock-up on the largest bags at lowest prices of the season! Select from black-oil sunflower seed, no mess, Cincinnati Supreme, raw peanuts, safflower, thistle, and all the varieties of suet to fill your feeders all winter long. 100% of store proceeds support our mission!

Autumn Native Plant Sale at the Nature Shop @ Cincinnati Nature Center, Rowe Woods

Autumn is the best time to plant native trees, shrubs, and plants! Choose from more than 60 native varieties from our local nurseries and turn your yard into an eco-friendly garden for pollinators and other wildlife. Plant now and you’ll be at least three weeks ahead this spring!

Our Nature Shop is open daily from 10 am-5 pm.  Plants will continually be restocked. 100% of store proceeds support our mission.

Join us at our Artists’ Market. Celebrate Great Outdoor Weekend by meeting local artists and makers who use the great outdoors for inspiration for their work.

  • Meet local maker: Martha Enriquez from Pine Lane Farm who makes soaps and lotions.
  • Meet local artist: Beth Kindle who makes upcycled coil baskets.
  • Meet local potter: Trish McLennan from Gardenhouse Pottery.
  • Meet local farmer: Lisa Marie Roberts from Shoshin Farm who makes savory preserves.
  • Meet local farmer and maker: Erin Philips from Phillips Farm and check out her farm stand with jellies, eggs, salad dressing, olive oil, and more.
